Reed House

year: 2002

design: Marjika De Goey, Richard Horden

The Reed House was conceived by Marijke de Goey and Richard Horden as a combination of sculpture and architecture. The characteristic tall reed like sculptures of the Amsterdam Artist Marijke de Goey hold the adapted 'micro compact home' close to polder level.

The image a clear reference to the beauty of the birds nest set low in the reeds.
