A 510 sqm private house for a family of four on the Sandbanks peninsular. This is a renewal of a house first built in 1972 one of the first steel frames houses built in in Poole at that time; the other being our Courtyard House completed in the same year.

The new home will provide an additional floor overlooking Poole Harbour on the west side and a raised pavilion on the beach easterly side giving generous views of Poole Bay and The English Channel.

The house is for a client with a commitment to clean energy, low carbon design and will comprise state of the art technology for solar energy, water recycling and natural ventilation and cooling. The lightly sculptured balcony fronts are tilted to reflect sunlight to the viewer approaching along Banks Road.
