HCLA celebrates 20 years

HCL Architects celebrates their 20th anniversary year with a day of sailing! In 3 boats, the team set off for a sunny afternoon of racing across the Solent, finishing off the day with prize-giving to the winning crew.

Each boat was skippered by an experienced yachtsman, every staff member took responsibility for their own role within the crew and supporting their fellow teammates. The trip was a great opportunity for everyone to practice their team working skills in a different environment.

Though a long way from London, it was well worth the journey down to Lymington. Projects such as the Poole Museum, Wildwood, The Yacht House and House on Evening Hill are based in Poole, hometown to late founder Richard Horden, with other HCL Architects projects currently underway in Dorset and the south-west.
