Overview
This project involves the sensitive alteration and refurbishment of an existing high-end residence in Surrey, located within a Conservation Area, together with the addition of a new contemporary pool house and associated landscape works. The proposals seek to enhance the relationship between the existing house, new accommodation and surrounding gardens, introducing a considered contemporary intervention that responds carefully to its established setting.
The new pool house is conceived as a refined contemporary addition, providing dedicated leisure and wellness accommodation while maintaining a strong visual connection with the surrounding landscape. The architectural approach balances clean, modern forms with a carefully considered material palette, allowing the new building to sit sensitively alongside the existing residence and within the wider Conservation Area context.
Associated soft landscaping alterations form an integral part of the proposals, strengthening the relationship between the architecture and its garden setting. The landscape strategy is being developed alongside the architectural design to create a cohesive transition between the existing house, new pool house and external spaces.
The project is currently progressing with construction anticipated to commence in 2027.
